KENSJA members elected new officials on 26 November 2022 after an Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The new officials will serve the association for the next two years as required by the constitution.

Duncan Mboyah, a freelance journalist was re-elected to serve a second term as the Chairperson. His deputy is Judith Akolo, a senior environment journalist at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC).

Vera Okeyo of JPiego was elected Secretary General. Her deputy is Justus Wanzala of KBC.

During the elections held in Nairobi, Carolyne Oyugi, a freelance journalist was elected as the Organising Secretary.

Catherine Muindi of Kenya News Agency was elected Treasurer and her deputy is Joan Bett, the head of Kalenjin station Kitwek FM .

Committee members are Dan Kaburu of K24, Gilbert Koech of the Star and Lilian Mukoche of Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology FM. The KENSJA Patron is Ochieng Ogogo of SciDev. The officials will bring their expertise and rich experience to take the association to the next level and meet the objectives of KENSJA
